The concourse of Newcastle Central Station is covered in turf to publicise the 'green' credentials of rail travel.

And I reckon that to do this enviromental awareness stunt that they'll have used a lorry to get the grass there. It's utter nonsense, if they'd invested the money into station improvements it'd would have been much better.
