Ponypool & Blaenavon Steam Gala - June 24-26
 

The Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway is holding its annual steam gala over the 24th - 26th June 2016.

This year's event will see three visiting locomotives come to the steeply graded line:
0-6-0PT 1501 courtesy of the Severn Valley Railway

Along side the visitors the railway's home locomotives will also be in action
0-6-0ST Mech Navvies
0-4-0ST Rostyth No.1

The three days will feature two passenger trains and a freight train in operation, with double heading, banking and non-stop runs and also including the new extension opened September 2015.
