X'trapolis suburban trains from Alstom - Largest project
 

One of the major transport Alstom producing a Mega suburban train and it's name is X'trapolis.It runs at a speed of 120km/h and attains maximum speed of 160km/h.It is designed in such a way that to serve upto 30,000 passengers per hour.It is a typical 6 car train length of 131.42m width of 2.75m.X'trapolis features a spacious interiors allowing easy flow of passengers inside the train.These trains are going to operate on Melbourne's suburban train network in 2015.
