Hello everyone,
I've just joined the Railway Forum this evening, my interest in steam goes back to travelling to and from school in the 50's and early 60's usually behind a Bullied from Bournmouth. I joined the K&ESR as a cleaner in 1986 and became a fireman in 1990, I then moved to Devon with my job in1993 and Joined the South Devon Railway, becoming a fireman in 1994 and a driver in 2002 and retired in 2012. Although it was mainly Western engines I remain an out and out Southern enthusiast!

Welcome to the Forum, Paul. I've never quite managed to reach Tavistock, Okehampton being the nearest town I've visited. I still dream that one day the railway line will be restored there though.
