One of the major rail transport system US is implementing Positive train control system. It is an advanced technology designed in such a way that it automatically stops or slow a train before certain accidents.Implementation of this system will reduce the train accidents.Positive control system in US is going to cover 70,000 miles of track and 20,000 locomotives to be equipped with PTC by the end of 2015.
