Train smashes into car on Houston level crossing
 
Four people were injured when a train smashed into a car on a level crossing in Houston, Texas.

CCTV footage shows the SUV cross the tracks, even though the warning gates have been lowered.

Looks like the UK is not the only western country to have idiot's for drivers when it comes to level crossing's. Once again it is only a half barrier.

Didn't you realise that once anyone gets into a car they become invulnerable and immortal? Idiots populate the whole world, there are too many for us to keep them all safe.

It is because of the idiot drivers that have carved me up over the last year that I now have an in car camera fitted. Most of my problems come from the new 20mph areas we have in Bristol, which are there to save kids lives in inner city housing areas and around schools. Only today I had a white van cut across two lanes in front of me and a taxi try to overtake me on the inside. The film of the taxi's driving is now with the police.
