Saw an ad for this Forum in Steam Railway and here I am.

I am Cornish but live in Germany, where I am Fleet Engineer for a Rail Leasing company, therefore heavily involved in rail both profesionaly and as a hobby, which by me started with a footplate run up the Lickey bank on Big Bertha in 1952. (the driver was a friend of my father).

When one gets that sort of introduction to railways, you are hooked for life!
