Latest on overhaul of 'West Country' No. 34046 Braunton

The long drawn out saga of the protracted overhaul of 'West Country' No. 34046 Braunton took a further positive step today when the locomotive moved from Carnforth, from where it had undertaken a successful main line test run last week, to Southall in readiness of taking up charter train duties. It is seen here approaching Tamworth in light steam being hauled by West Coast Class 57/3 No. 57313.
This Sunday's 'Weymouth Seaside Express' or next Wednesday's 'Dorset Coast Express' are likely candidates for haulage by Braunton

Not into Facebook either,
I would prefer the less nautical Shunter's Pole.
