Hi Train boy, and welcome to the forum. The subject of loco headcodes is a vast one, and it would help if you could be more specific about your interest. Are you talking present-day loco workings, or are you interested in the codes used historically?

I thought I knew of a good website for headcodes, but I can't find it now. A good place to start however would be the Wikipedia entry – look under Train reporting number.
