Belper Model Railway Group Exhibition 23rd March 2013: Cancelled.
 

BMRG Exhibition in the Strutt Center, Belper, Derbyshire. The Center is on the A6 oposite Babington Hospital next to "The Tavern". Just loook out for the signs on the A6.

Open 10am to 5pm. 8 layouts from Z gauge to O gauge. Plus full trade support. Wheelchair friendly - all on the level. Refreashments and Free Parking.

I am sorry to say that we have had to cancel the Exhibition due to the weather conditions. There has already been significant snow fall in the Belper Area and the forecast is for it to continue to snow until mid-day tomorrow.

I'm quite confused about this weather
ALL main roads around Chesterfield are fine (Snake Pass closed as always)

90% of the schools are shut

shame they cancelled was considering visiting

Had hoped you might come Gray. However next time perhaps.

At present I can't get my car out - bit of a handicap for the Event's Manager! I can walk to the Centre, the problem is all the things I need to take!

The decision to cancel has to be taken early enough to let everyone know.

You chose the right call after today we went to Sheffield this lunch only got as far as Rails and Matalan before aborting to get home at around 5:30pm and the snow is much worse in Sheffield even though my car has big feet but only FWD not 4x4 we were slipping in places that looked OK so ..............
