SWT Class 458/5
 

Just seen the final proposal for the Class 458 conversions , units are going to look very much like the Class 450 Desiros , they will have the same paint scheme , and the nose ends are being rebuilt similar to a 450 , they are also being fitted with selective door opening , which reqiires every coach being fitted with a transponder and trackside sensors at all stations. the first 460 is already at Wabtec Doncaster and has been stripped ready for rebuild , the driving trailer and luggage car have gone to loughborough to be rebuilt expect the first 458/5 in the new year.
