What was this train at Banbury yesterday?

Yesterday afternoon I was at Banbury station (not familiar territory for me) and saw an unusual looking train. Can anyone tell me what it is please? It consisted of four nice smart looking Chiltern Railways "Mainline" coaches headed by 82302 and propelled by 67010. It came in slowly from the north around 15.30, sat on the tracks behind the station for about half an hour then trundled off to the south.

Sounds like one of the ex - Wrexham & Shropshire push-pull sets, maybe on its way to or from servicing? Though I could well be wrong.
