Hello all, I am a new bird to the forum, I have been out this morning hoping to see Oliver Cromwell 70013 pulling The Yorkshireman but alas, the loco was replaced and was diesel hauled. Can anyone shed any light as to what has happened?

Hello Jvv664 and welcome to the forum. From another forum I understand that 70013 failed a fitness to run exam. Allegedly with leaking tubes.

Jvv664, hello and welcome. I too hope you enjoy our company on here. There a good bunch for sure.
OC did suffer a serious tubeplate leak back back in May and caused a bit of a stir! I dont know if that had reared up again?
I am sure someone will enlighten us.

Hi again Jvv664, if you keep an eye on this link http://www.5305la.org.uk/index.aspx I'm sure that all will be revealed eventually although there's nothing relevant on there at the moment. The 5305 Loco association are the caretakers of 70013.
