Re igniting my interest in trains
Morning all;
I have joined this group as I have not long ago re ignited my interest for trains having 'lost my way' due to my career in the late 70's. I am amazed at the changes in that time - not least the TOC disgusting fascination with the current passenger stock over the roomy and comfortable stock I remember so well. My current interest I guess lies with Freight - only because that is where the majority of the loco's are. I have recently 'digitised' all my old slides into digital - unfortunatley the digital version shows just what an appalling photographer I was then. No doubt my stupid and inane questions testing the patience of the wise will follow in due course. ! Dave |

Hello Dave and welcome to the Forum. I digitised all my old slides as well a while ago. Considering the length of time they'd been stored and the relatively primitive materials we had to work with in those days, the results weren't bad. At least you've got those precious images hopefully saved for all time now.

Hello Dave and welcome to the Railway Forum.

A warm welcome from me too Dave and I hope you enjoy the company on this forum. Never be afraid to ask questions as there are plenty on here with vast amounts of knowledge and most are only too willing to help a fellow enthusiatst.
Enjoy and look forward to your posts. Cheers Phil |
Welcome to the Forum Dave. Ask away, you might even get some answers!
