Battlefield Line visit 10th March
 

Greetings.

Not 100% convinced a trip report thread should be here but here goes! Took myself off to the Battlefield Line today, first ever visit.

73114 was the loco in charge. Not too many visitors around but a friendly guard to me that 'it should of covered costs for the day' I guess like any preserved railway things are tight. Also found out that they do plan to hold a diesel gala in late September. Sadly there Steam gala next weekend has been cancelled to to 2 visiting locos being double booked.

Anyway it was good afternoon! a couple of pics below, hope you enjoy them :) Ps looked like the volunteers were busying at Market Bosworth building a new path & parking perhaps!?
