Hello Jim and welcome to the Railway Forum. I'm just over the bridge from you in Bristol. I did not realise there was so much track still laid on the Wye Valley Railway.

Thank you to all for the kind comments. Yes DSY011 the Wye Valley Railway still has rails in place to the buffer stops just north of Tintern Quarry. I enjoy exploring where former railways were once laid, my most recent visit was to Onllwyn Washery to see what remains of the line from Neath to Brecon.
