Welcome to the forum Buffer, I have promised myself I am going to crack on with my 00 layout in the garage as well. Been promising myself that for the last 2 years though. Its still at the same stage it was 2 Christmas's ago.

:) should be two good garage layouts then, the time its taking i've been doing mine a year and half IN MY MIND THAT IS,

paul miller 30th November 2008 17:04

I have been doing mine for about 9 years now, but the majority of work was done in the first 6 or 7.
When I have tidied the room up and made it look half decent I will post some photos.
Paul.

Thankyou for the welcome Paul & John, say John hope your a patient man, cos getting this out of me head onto the tracks could be a while longer yet, wot you say Paul:D :D

I know what you mean Buffer!

However I am about to start a thread charting the beginings of my new layout "The Will Valley Railway."

Perhaps if we each do this it will spur us all into action!

Best wishes,

John H-T.

That's a good idea John. We could post some thoughts and drawings on to a thread and get help or useful comments about the plans. Also a bit of help with bit of the scenery. I know that I will not be starting to build my layout for 3 years but I will be able to learn a lot from others and hope to help others as well.
