Dapol really appear to be an asset to the British N-Scale modeller. I can remember the Minitrix Ivatt 2MT from years ago and this Dapol one is far superior.I assume it will run as well as it looks:)

John,
Dapol's 45xx and 14xx are both very good runners at both speed and at very slow running. The M7 is a good model but seems to be under powered. It runs well at low speed and all 3 are very good looking models. I have all 3 of them.
Dapol's class 66's are very good as well from the looks, a few minor things could be changed but they are very popular and my local model shop can't get enough of them. (not a Dapol star shop). I am also very impressed with the rolling stock. As I am not a rivet counter they are all up to the standard I enjoy.

I agree Syd. Although N-scale models are constantly improving most commercial produced ones still have to be a compromise. A modeller who can accept this will really enjoy the hobby and all it has to offer. Anyone who can't live with this shouldn't even consider N-scale:(
John.
