1/35 Trumpeter BR52 and 2cm Flakvierling

Hi all

I have just finished my version of Trumpeter's 1/35 BR-52. It's finished in a self-designed "forest Splinter" scheme - something different other than the usual Black or grey/yellow scheme Trumpeter offer you. The way figure it, there were over 6000 of these made during WW2, so who knows exactly what was done with them all ;)
Anyway, it was 9 months or so of hard work and on more than one occasion, it almost ended up in the drawer of doom. However, perseverance has paid off and it has resulted in my best work to date.
AM list was small but extensive - Eduard "Big Ed" PE set, LZ Models resin set, Armor 35 Coal and lots of time spent filling ejector pin and mold shift marks. I did scratch up a few things here and there, like the cab floor, light bulbs around the walking boards and air lines etc
Anyway, this is my first ever steam loco and also my last. Next up in a few months time will be the K5 railroad gun

That is great!

It must have been a lot of hard work but the finished loco looks superb. Well done.

An excellent model and a superb example of finishing a model locomotive in an everyday but not too "weathered" scheme. Something I could not hope to emulate. Fantastic!

Looks great. Fine effort.

thank you very much gentlemen. I'm sorry about the links to the pictures - for some reason, I can't seem to get the pictures to show - no matter what type of URL type I try. I'm usually pretty OK with that sort of thing but in this instance it would appear that I'm not. I'll have another play with it shortly

If your interested to see more, I have got a complete build log here if you would like to see how it went together : http://madhatterscaleworks.blogspot.com.au

thank you again for your comments and I'll try to fix those pictures
Kind regards
Simon
