Very interesting. A screech and a bang at the front of the train sounds like a seized traction motor, or wayward traction module.

Never heard of one burning like that on a modern Emu though. It really looked bright and hot on the video they were showing.

A few sleepless nights ahead for the Bombardier tech team !
