The cursed 47216

Anyone recall this story?

What other 'cursed' locos were there?

In cricket, the score 111 (known as Nelson), and multiples of, is considered unlucky and you often see batsmen out for such scores. I remember 47111 coming to a grim end one night close to Preston station when it was used to stop a runaway Class 104 DMU.

D326 (40126), as mentioned in the article, seemed to have a reputation.

I seem to remember 47321 (nicknamed Dusty Bin) having a bit of bad luck about it, I also saw this loco involved in a crash (although much less serious than 47111's accident) at Preston.
