Hello from Durham
Hi. My name's Mark. I saw this forum on the Ships Nostalgia forum site, & as a ferroequinologist of many years' standing I felt it appropriate to join.
My main interest is in the Midland Railway; I'm on missionary work up here in the North-East! I'm really a steam buff; however I do take an interest in the modern scene, & occasionally splash out on main line steam trips; the last one was the '3 Dales' tour last May. I also model in 4mm scale. I tend to be around for a couple of months, then disappear to sea for 3-month trips. Not too many Brits left at sea! |
Welcome to the Forum Mark, you will find plenty to interest you on here.

Hello GOSLP.A lot of missionarys came to the N.E. most of whom were killed by vikings and some went to Ireland.Oh by the way Darlington Co-Durham was
the birth place of public railways 1825.Just a thought I hope you have had your M.E. engine holding down bolts checked lately and check those bilges. Kenny. |
