Model Rail Scotland

Assuming most of the Scottish contingent on here will be going, are any of the southerners making the journey? :D

We could all meet up for a beer, mind you last time I did that after the show it got a bit messy

See my posts re Doncaster - assume you'll come and say hello to us on "Alloa".

I'll certainly pop over, from what I remember that is a cracking layout. I lived near the town hall in Alloa for 5 years, so I've always had an interest in the railways around there, looking forward to seeing it again

Sadly not this year, but we are talking of bring the Patriot project stand to next year's exhibition.

Hope the show is good.

Best wishes,

Hi,

I'll be there on the Friday. I've already booked my day off work and 'found' some spending money. I'll pop over to 'Alloa' and say hello.

Good stuff Alex, look forward to making your acquaintance. Just off the phone to Steve of SRSG checking we're all co-ordinated for Doncaster. 2 days of practice at Doncaster will hopefully leave us in peak condition for Glasgow! Remember I'm just an operator and the hard work, knowledge and skill has come from the 4 guys who make up the Scottish Region Study Group - Steve, Chas, John and Dave. Steve, being a town planner, is the "buildings" guy, Chas is "sparks", John is the "chippie" and Dave is the proprietor of D&F Models in Glasgow - a lot to tap into there.
