East Midlands Trains Standard Class Trolleys

I am lead to believe that East Midlands Trains Standard Class trolleys have sandwiches. Yet, I can never see them when I pass one. Are they stored in the 'Thermo-Pak' bags on top of the trolley? If so, does this mean that some of them are served hot?
