Texas fuel train on fire after crossing crash.
A goods train transporting petrol has burst into flames after colliding with a lorry at a level crossing in the US state of Texas, police say.
Footage of the incident in the city of Cameron, in Milam County, showed thick black smoke streaming across the sky. Nearby homes had to be evacuated and at least one property was destroyed by fire, police said. The vehicle's driver and the people on board the train escaped unharmed and no injuries have been reported. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-56117353 |
Them Lone Star Staters are definitely doing it tough lately.
Horrendous weather and power outages. But they ain't the only ones having train versus big rig collisions. Our Sandgropers have had a hit-up at Parkeston WA. https://www.atsb.gov.au/publications...#tab_1_content Sounds like our loco crew came out the worse for wear in the incident. No snow to add to the problems in WA thankfully. Steve. |
