Canadian Pacific's Holiday/Christmas Train Video

Every year CP Rail of Canada runs two special "Holiday Trains" to raise money for local Food Shelf Donations. One train travels all over Canada, and the other across the Northern USA. Here is some video I shot of the Holiday Train pulling into downtown St. Paul, MN, Union Depot a week ago. I hope you enjoy it!

Canadian Pacific's Holiday/Christmas Train Video

Wow. That's awesome. We don't have those facilities or special trains for christmas in our country

DoctorZ 21st December 2014 15:55

There is nothing special about the facilities. I was actually hoping to catch the train between stops at a grade crossing or something. That would have been cool and I hear the train plays Christmas music as it passes by.

So far only the Canadian Pacific Railroad is doing the special trains, one for the Northern USA, and one through Canada.

Isn't that great ?

Mind you I can just imagine trying to do that here.

1) Network Rail would be bitching about the train showing incorrect illumination.

2) The Office of Rail regulation would be chasing the Train Operators for delaying the train behind them.

2) The Health & Safety Executive would have everyone on the train arrested due to not filling out risk criteria assessments and the fact that the band are not covered head-to-toe in flourescent orange and wearing hard hats.

Bah Humbug.

It's nice to see that the yanks haven't outlawed fun like we have, God Bless 'em. :D

Fabulous - but be fair Beeyar Wunby - credit to the Canadians, not the Yanks!

That's jazzy!
