Merry Go Round(MGR) Freight Train

Believe this goes through Warrington on Saturday mornings, early. Does anyone know the time, and where we can see it. i.e, Does it pass underneath bank quay?:)

Hi Malcolm and welcome to the forum.
Are you are referring to the DBS coal trains from Liverpool Bulk Terminal to Fiddlers Ferry Power Station?
If so there is supposed to be a loaded one in the Warrington Bank Quay area around 09:00 on a Saturday. DBS coal trains from Liverpool pass through WBQ on their way to Walton Old Junction Yard where the loco runs round. The train then works to Latchford Sidings where the loco runs round again before finally departing for Fiddlers Ferry along the line that runs underneath Warrington Bank Quay station.
Unfortunately I think Fiddlers Ferry Power Station is undergoing routine maintenance at the moment and not all (if any) coal trains are running.
