I have just found this website,I am a retired driver with, 47 years service on the footplate, at Saltley depot (21A).

Hello 21Aman and welcome to the Railway Forum. I was also a footplateman.

I was at Saltley from 1963 to 2006.

I did indeed know Mick Bryan,he was at Saltley when I started there in 1963,and I remember him leaving to move to Cornwall.:)
