Allocated a "priority"seat.

I have been allocated seat M01 on an East Coast service.
According to the seating plan, 01 is a dedicated priority seat.
Is this likely to be a problem or am I worrying needlessly?

Yes if it were me I'd check with them.

It rather hinges on what the expression 'priority' is for.

If it's intended for people with mobility issues (etc) and you are fully mobile, then if at some stage of your journey a passenger turns up needing it the on-train staff may have to ask you to vacate your seat.

Some EC services get very busy so it could be the case that there are no other seats available on the train by this stage.
