Sir Richard Branson is sent sardines by a rail passenger group upset by a 50% cut to some Virgin Trains services.

This is getting stupid! Do these idiots think that Richard Branson is responsible for train diagramming. If they had any sense, here is the address they should be sending the sardines to:

http://www.dft.gov.uk/contact

;)

The sardines might make a better job than the DfT.

Yes, but the DfT are more likely to listen to a complaint from Branson, than a bunch of Sardines !

If Richard Branson is really that bovered about it and argues to the DFT to sort it out (which they won't) at the end of the day he will just want Virgin Group to be on the sucessful side, he will probrably see it as up to the Virgin WC team (inclduing Stagecoach) to sort out the issues.
