Railways are dangerous places
 

Even for experienced Heritage workers there is still risk involved in being on the track and you can never be too careful. Always look out for others and hope that someone is looking out for you. God rest they're soul.

What a terrible tragedy this is, my thoughts go to his family, friends and colleagues.

Railways are safe, but these things unfortunately happen, and I'm sure he will be missed by all.
