Signal simulation
 

I remember someone asking recently about signalling simulators,
there is a free one at www.simsig.co.uk with various scenarios. You will have to create an account to download, then payment is voluntary if you wish to make a donation. Haven`t tried it yet, but have seen someone using it.
Looks good, think I`ll be giving it a go.

I have a question about this download...... If I downloaded it, but did not want to use it on here, but on another non-Internet "Pc", could I put it on a disc or stick and then load it on to there ?

I have a machine up stairs which is only used for things like that but it is not internet loaded at all, it is Windows XP though.

I think so, because you don`t need to be connected to the internet to run it, only to download new routes. You should be ok to put it on a disc and do what you like with it.

i have used all of the signalling sims currently available and simsig is the best for modern computer controlled signalling and is great when using multiplayer, but if you like lever frames Rail3d is the sim for you, it doesnt have very good graphics but its the most accurate.

Hello Mendipman319 and welcome to the Railway Forum. Do you have any thoughts on train driving sims? I have Railworks but can't get it to run.

i think railworks is great but i have had problems with it running to. ever since upgrading to windows 7 i have had problems. so i have gone back the the trusty railsim :P im currently trying to figure out how to make it work again. It isnt something to do with the computer and thats all i know. Unless a 2 week old £980 computer isnt working :mad: . It depends on what you like do you prefure steam, diesel or electric maybe even underground trains????
