Euston Station Redevelopment, London, United Kingdom

£2.25bn ($3.47bn) redevelopment is part of the High Speed 2 (HS2) Railway project, a new high-speed railway line being developed between London and West Midlands. Euston station opened in 1837 and serves more than 40 million passengers and do you think its worth to spend £2.25bn for redevelopment of Euston station?

I think HS2 is a waste of money
When the Government is saying there is no money for the Midland Main Line electrification at a fraction of the cost of HS2

Yup, with you on this one.

There's only so much cash to go round, and IMHO wiring up the country should have the highest priority. And if they did it properly the first time, we wouldn't have to spend a small fortune putting it right afterwards.

I agree whole heartedly with the above but isn't it the same old problem when the government is involved!....
