Hallo from Hull History Nerd!
Hi all, I'm a huge history geek, mainly centred around railways, but that was my starting point to spread out wider around industrial history in general. I've been making a series of videos on YouTube about the history of Hull's railways which have gained a really nice following so far, and I was hoping you might also enjoy them. I don't ask for subscriptions, and I don't hide my videos behind paywalls - they are and will always be free to watch! I would upload one here, but I'm having trouble logging in to the TV site.

Hi there, welcome aboard.
Can you give a link to one of your Hull railway YouTube films please ? |
I found one of the films, and was impressed by the presentation.

Hi Philip, sorry I missed your question, but I see you have found the videos! In case anyone else is interested, here's a link to my channel; https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLv...76uifRJN0LiUFQ
There is a whole series on the railways of Hull, and in the new year, when the weather starts behaving a little more responsibly, I'll be doing a series called Lost Railways of Yorkshire which gives the same treatment to other lines such as the Malton and Driffield, Beverley to York and Scarborough to Whitby branches. |
Hull History Nerd, as a keen follower of your excellent series on the Hull and Barnsley, have you given any thought to the branches of the H&B ? I recall that you said that something might be coming at the end of the last film- when you were stood on the track before at Drax.
