Heritage Tours of Scunthorpe Steelworks

Dear all,

I've been given the timetable for this summers Scunthorpe rail tours which I think will be of some interest to members here. I think the site rail network is still the largest privately owned rail network in the UK.

More info can be found >>here<<

Appleby Frodingham Railway Preservation Society will be running a series of rail tours around the Scunthorpe site over the summer months using heritage vehicles.

All tours must be pre booked and are on a first come first served basis so are sure to go like hot cakes.

All proceeds go to Appleby Frodingham Railway Preservation Society to maintain the locomotives and rolling stock, enabling them to preserve the future of the rail tours.

Please note photography is only allowed in designated areas.

All times are GMT +1. The time now is 20:22.
