Hello - northbay here for the first time
 

Hi all,
Since I retired from the rail industry (a bit prematurely) I have moved to Scarborough from Doncaster and I have joined the Scarborough Railway and the A1 project where I help with the overhaul of Tornado.
I look forward to joining in with discussions on this forum from time to time - cheers :)

To start a conversation - I went to the NRM yesterday to do some work on Tornado. The overhaul is going well and the boiler is scheduled to return from Germany at the end of this month.
Going to SRS tonight . the talk is Welshpool and Llanfair railway. - all good stuff.

Hi all. Another good turnout on Friday night at SRS and an excellent talk from Dave Billmore on the ongoing improvements and problems overcome by hard working enthusiasts to keep the wheels turning on the Welshpool and Llanfair railway. :)

Another good meet last night and a good turnout to see 60s revisited. All forms of transport including Harbour shots, buses and stored locos at 50E prior to scrapping but nicely cleaned. well done Geoff Boyes
