Hello to everone
Hi there. I'm a 57 year old train spotter who can't get steam out of my system. Soft spot for early diesel and electric locos too. Must be about the era more than the motive power.
|
In that case I'm sure you will feel at home here. A lot of us are in the same (happy :D) position.;)
|
Hello and welcome to the forum, enjoy and all the best.
|
Just a couple of years older than you – I know exactly how you feel. Welcome to the Railway Forum! :)

Hello Launceston Castel and welcome to the Railway Forum. I'm a steam man myself but I am getting to like early diesels as well.
|
Hello Launceston Castle, welcome to the forum. I am 12 years older than you but have always had an interest in anything with wheels. I am an avid spotter, especially since I retired.

Hallo

I love steam and diesel too, not so much into electrics - just don't seem to have the same character somehow. Welcome and enjoy.

Launceston Castle, I am 61 and share the same passion as yourself, steam, Peaks and the old Woodhead electrics from my spotting days in Sheffield.
Steam and Deltics from my Doncaster spotting days. I currently like the new Class 70s, mainly because they are a rarity up here in the North East, so to actually see one on heavy haul is exhillerating. |
