Hi to All
Hi I'm Dean, massive railway enthusiast, living in Düsseldorf in Germany.
I grew up in Rugby, lived in Leeds and Amsterdam for a while and so have lived in some pretty good railway catchment areas. My favourite trains are the german ICE3 - Siemens Velaro, the new 395 javelins, and, unlike others, pendolinos. So i hope to make some good contributions, I'm a bit of an idealist (outside of work) Nice to be here |

Hi and welcome aboard the forum, j0hn0. My favourite trains are the Eurostar (hence my username), the French TGVs, the new class 395 javelins. I am also into steam trains.

Hello Dean and welcome to the forum, enjoy
Regards Alan |
thankyou, I also like steam trains but not as a rule. I like engines like the "jubilees" and the "coronations" - LMS of course, but I am in awe of the brand new Tornado.
I actually prefer narrow gauge steam, like the beyer-garratts, NG15s and double fairlies because of the problem that they solve and the scenery they pass through. |
Welcome to the Forum Dean. Look forward to your posts.
Best wishes, John H-T. |
