Hello to all at the Railway Forum
Just drifted in from the Truck and Bus forum and also hide under a different name on SN and see some familiar names here.
Diesel engineering background from what seems a long time ago and have a general interest in most things mechanical. |

Hello Western SMT and welcome to the forum, enjoy and all the best.

Welcome to the forum Western SMT, hope you enjoy it all. With a prefix like yours I think back quite a few years to pre privatisation and the Scottish bus groups. I worked in the bus industry for many years prior to joining the railway.
Have liked your Swiss photos as I go that country on average twice a year. Davat |

Lucky you going to Switzerland twice a year. |
Coincidence I workeds for Ribble Motor Services for some 28 years mainly as the Traffic Superintendent at the local depot. We ran joint services with Western on quite a few routes from Lancashire to Scotland and the overnight non stop Birmingham to Glasgow service.
Happy days remembered. Iwill shortly be posting some of my more recent Swiss photos, but just at the moment I am suffering from a cold which started in February just after my first visit to Switzerland this year All the best Davat |
