Doubtless a PR exercise but I do give Adonis some credit for getting out of his office and seeing for himself - not something many of his predecesssors have done. However, I would have been more impressed if he'd just gone and done it "under cover" leaving the press coverage until it was all over.

I was going to say you can use your bus pass to get some rail fares half price Gandalf but I see your nearest railway station(Huntingdon)is some miles away.

So it will have to be Shadowfax to the rescue.:rolleyes:

I bet they knew exactly which trains he was travelling in and the signals kept miraculously clear and green throughout! Marvellous what can be achieved when you know the right people upstairs (take a look at the recent through trains to Swanage - something to do with the 5 rings no doubt?)
