Just found this site so thought I would join in! Long-term railway enthusiast and ex-BR employee, now currently member of Bluebell Railway and the Bulleid Society. Big fan of the Southern Railway if you hadn't guessed!

Aside from railways, I like all kinds of transport including buses, cars, paddle steamers, etc. Ex-member Medway Queen Preservation Society and London Bus Preservation Trust, was involved with the North Downs Steam Railway when it was in Chatham Dockyard. My life going in circles, I also now have been involved professionally with the current railway set-up at Chatham, moving some exhibits around for them.

My other main interest, in fact my obsession is my 1968 Series 2A Land Rover (see website for more!). I alos dabble in models and can be found under 80064 on the NRM forum.

Hope to be able to make a positive input here and if you've not hung yourself reading this drivel so far, so much the better!;) :D

Welcome to the forum S/Steam. We have a few Southern fans on this site, and I have to admit that there are a few Southern locos that I like as well. I am not a great fan of buses as I drove them for Bristol Omnibus for 8 years. Series 2A Land Rover, I worked on a few of them as an apprentice in the Rhodesian Army. Hope you enjoy the forum and post lots.
