Sad to see some examples that are now gone forever.
Interesting footage though.

Very interesting and evocative footage.
Wonder why all of these clips seem so dull, like they were taken at dusk?

1. I just get an error message about video having been removed.

2. Early colour films (slide / negative / cine, etc. ) were often rated at 25 ISO, or even lower, so except in bright light, images often appeared dull.

I get the same error message now.:eek:

25ASA colour film (slides or prints) used to give superb results under the right conditions.

I used to love Kodachrome 64 (64ASA) I thought a nice compromise.
Kodak Triex 400 (400ASA) I used for dark shots at Toton and Tinsley amongst other places. :)

And, it's the first time I've seen brake tenders in action.:D

The 37's used to use them regularly on coal trains when I was a kid, also sometimes on rats when they needed a bit more stopping power.
