Hi Ken. Welcome to the forum. How much of the Southern Region did you cover from Strawberry Hill? Did you ever get down to the Sussex Coast and my home town of Hastings?

Hello Ken and welcome to the Forum. Hope you enjoy it and it would be great to hear your memories. As you'll see, there's a special section (BR Footplatemen Forum) for ex-railwaymen like yourself.

Hello Ken & Members
First time on this site so if anybody can help that will be appreciated. As part of my collection of Railway Clocks I own a 8" Round Dial Clock made by John Walker 1 South Molton Street London. The Dial Pan has Roman Numerals with 24hr numbering in red starting at figure I (13.00hrs) and 24.00hrs at XII Its reputable in service location was Strawberry Hill Goods Depot. To date I cannot find any detailed photographs of Strawberry Hill Goods Depot so if any members have any or recollections that will authenticate this it would be most welcome. Thank you dodgerpage |
