Hi

Hi people i'm new here. My name's Josh and I volunteer on the East Kent Railway, Kent & East Sussex Railway and Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway in Kent, England. I am 14 years old.:)

Hello Josh. Welcome from me. The K & ESR is a favourite line of mine as it happens. If 'Charwelton' is still there there find out, if you will, when it will be back in service - and will it be restored to that attractive (the original) 'lined umber' colour scheme?

Welcome.
We could do with more photos or news from the RHDR.
A railway I have long wanted to visit, but somehow never made it

Hi Josh,

Welcome to the forum.

What sort of work do you do on the East Kent Railway, Kent & East Sussex Railway and Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway? I drive steam trains on the Spa Valley Railway.

andersley 16th August 2007 13:20

Hi Josh, welcome aboard. I have visited the RHDR a couple of times and really enjoyed it. Although it is a while since I was down there, I really must pay another visit. :)

I visited the RHDR during its 80th anniversary weekend and very much enjoyed it.

Hi,
In reply to EuroStar's comment, I do general work on the EKR, Permanent Way on the K&ESR and mainly shop stuff at Dymchurch. Havn't done much RH&DR or K&ESR stuff recently. Do u know Chris Smith, Mark Lane, Alistair Dussart and Mark Jenkins from the Spa, cos I know them?
Thanks
Josh:)
