Tell more as to why Talyllyn and what type of railway you like

Well, the Talyllyn Railway in Wales is one of my favourites, that's why I chose that as my username :)

I am a fan of all railways, but I'm particularly interested in steam locomotives and the era of steam despite being only 20 years old and therefore by no means born in to the generation of steam!

Hello Max and welcome to the Railway Forum. You said "despite being only 20 years old". Well age dose not matter where steam is concerned, I know of a 6 year old who is mad about steam.

Need some more photos of Talylln for a painting

Well I'm planning a visit soon as it happens; I'm just waiting to receive my hours from work before arranging something around it. I shall be sure to take plenty of pictures though, as I always do!

And thank you DSY011, I agree, I too have been fascinated by steam ever since I was around the age of 3 or 4 - partly thanks to a little blue tank engine! :rolleyes: hehe

Welcome to the forum from another Devonian. Do you go to the Paignton-Dartmouth railway to see steamers? I have visited several steam railways in Wales but not yet the Tallylyn.
Chris (60501 Cock of the North) Was allocated for many years at York where I began spotting. Do you have interest in Torquay United?
