Hi everybody
I have just found this website,I am a retired driver with, 47 years service on the footplate, at Saltley depot (21A).
Hope to contribute to the forum in the coming days .

He moved to St Blazey mid 80s.

I was at Saltley from 1963 to 2006.

I did indeed know Mick Bryan,he was at Saltley when I started there in 1963,and I remember him leaving to move to Cornwall.:)

He left a few years ago on medical grounds Ada and Mick went out to Spain to live things didnt work out so they came back to Cornwall he now lives back in Par.

We probably knew each other, I started at Saltley in Dec 1963. Maybe we could pm names? You must have known Jeff Mather too, he started a bit later than me, last I knew he was still there. I could go on naming names all day, of old colleagues.

Hello Mike,finally got on board yes.Brian `phoned me and said he`d had contact with you.I`m well,yes,enjoying retirement,well earned after 48 years man and boy.

Hope this the right one this time but hello again. I'm russnew and I look foreward to get to know you all. I have quite an intrests in trains. Both Steam, Diesel and Electric locomotive hear in the UK. And a big intrests in Chinese Steam Locomotives.
