I have been a Trade union member since I was 16, I am now 61.
I was also a member of the Labour party for 30 years till I got p****d of with TB in 2003.

There you go. A man with principles [Bubblewrap] that had them destroyed by the shitbag Blair. I can never understand how that man got elected to be the party leader as it was obvious that he was anytyhing BUT a socialist and was out to destroy what had been created by men of dedication and integrity over many years. The Labour party regarded Ramsay MacDonald as a turncoat and yet failed to spot TheBloody Liar as a traitor. May he rot in hell.

One problem the Tories are worse? who does one vote for?
My favourite man is Tony Benn a man vilified by the press(proves he's a good man) & greatly misunderstood.
It's always the same when someone stands up for the "working class".

We had better watch out as this thread is getting a bit political and we know what arguments politics and religion can cause. Suffice to say that we are all railway fans and we all have our heroes. Personally mine are people with left leaning policies except in the case of the EU and immigration. Nuff said.

Frank Field is another of Tony Benns stature too. I hope that Ed Miliband wins the leadership as he does seem to be more of a socialist than the others. We''ll see.

I thought this thread was on about the tube strike and the reasons why the drivers were taking action.
Don't take action and management will walk all over the drivers impose unacceptable conditions.
