clag is ok as long as its not excessive.
|
Just watched Avatar and there's plenty of clag in that!!
|
Had an ED Cl 73 with knackered injectors one day, when you opened
her wide open it was like HMS Glowworm trying to hide from the Admiral Von Hipper:eek: |
or maybe like sea fog over Romney Marsh?? Do you live near the RHDR chuffchuff - I love that little railway.

as a kid we all used it as a public footpath :D |
Anyone who likes clag ought to go sit in the middle of Brockholes Tunnel on the Penistone line all week for 10 hours a shift, with a Class 31 on the train.
This 31 was booked for setting off the fire alarms in the roof of Euston Station it was so bad. In the closed environment of a tunnel breathing in this c... is not something I would recommend to anyone. In the end we secured the train in the tunnel, hooked the engine off and stood outside in the fresh air. All that glitters is not gold. |
There was some clag at Mangapps today - the 47 power unit is running again after its winter lay up!!
|
actually clag sounds good but it can be bad for one's health!
|
clag is cool, uinfortunatly the only clag here in Pengshan, China comes from the factory chimmenys and traffic, the railway on this line being 99% electrified.....what I would give for a filthy DF to hammer through! :)
