My cam was on a tripod - unopened - straddling the rail so that I could bring it as low as I could to pick up the headlight reflection in the rail as best I could. #2860 was doing' what she was meant to do best in that image. I was able to frame the train in the road signals as well, which was lucky. Norm D. |
Welcome to the group.
Had a very enjoyable trip through the Rockies in 1999. Would love to do it with steam! Best wishes, John |

#2816 - not a Royal Hudson (2820 to 2864) - does steam runs around the mountains from time to time. She has been to Vancouver this year. I do not know prices or how to go about riding behind it, but she does put on a good show when she is around. She is not owned by the C P Rail, so I will keep a lookout for a website for it and post it. Norm D. |
