If any of you play, or have played, the computer games "Railroad Tycoon 2 & 3", you will be conversant with building railways that have to make a profit etc. I am very surprised that the idea hasn't been taken up here in the UK, either to build and run your own train operating company or try to operate an existing TOC. I am not a programmer but I am sure there are one or two out there somewhere. It would make a change from having to learn the railway history and geography of North America.
It would make an interesting new computer game if properly written.
